Our leading B2B Integrated Software company was using several Germany-based recruitment 'generalists' to find a new Sales Director, without any success. The CEO discussed the situation with a colleague within the Software Industry who recommended that he try a specialist Headhunting agency with Technology-based recruitment expertise - MSC. The CEO commissioned MSC on a 'retained' basis and a detailed brief, with instructions to seek an individual who satisfied the strict criteria needed for the vacant position.

MSC analysed the client organisation culture, researched the market environment and targeted a number of high profile candidates for the position. Following extensive enquiries and interviews, the candidates were intensively screened after which four individuals, who met the strict criteria, were put forward for interview with the client.

An offer was made to one of the candidates who accepted within six-weeks of project commission. The Sales Director is still with the organisation today and MSC has since been commissioned twice, to fill senior management vacancies on a retained basis.
